Nicotine Pouches 101: How They Work
A nicotine pouch is a small white pouch of nicotine, flavoring, and plant-based filler — no tobacco leaf, no spit, no smoke, nothing to light or charge.
If your first tin is on the way, here's everything you actually need to know.
How to use one
Park the pouch between your upper lip and gum, slightly off-center, and leave it there. No chewing, no sucking, no moving it around — it works by sitting still.
A light tingle or burn in the first few minutes is normal, especially with your first-ever pouch; it fades. When you're done, it goes in the trash — many tins have a catch-lid on top for exactly that.
How long a pouch lasts
Most people keep one in for 20–40 minutes. The flavor tapers before the nicotine does, so "the taste faded" doesn't mean it's spent — pull it whenever it stops being pleasant.
Picking your first tin
Start at the lighter end — 3mg if you're new to nicotine formats, 6mg if you're coming from something stronger — and pick a mint; they're the most forgiving profiles. Our strength guide breaks the tiers down properly.
One tin holds 15–24 pouches depending on brand. Everything on our menu lists strength per flavor, and it all delivers same-day across San Diego. 21+, ID at the door.
Quick answers
Do nicotine pouches contain tobacco?
No tobacco leaf — the nicotine is delivered in a white plant-fiber pouch. They're still nicotine products, still addictive, and still strictly 21+.
Do you spit with pouches?
No — that's the point of the format. No spitting, no smoke, no smell.
Can I reuse a pouch?
They're single-use. Once it's out, it's done — toss it in the catch-lid or the trash.
21+ only. WARNING: This product contains nicotine. Nicotine is an addictive chemical.
